Bill and Liam wrapped up a great session in our studio with special guests Mike Martin and Bill Olsen, two educators who have done great work collaborating with teachers and principals in finding ways to improve the culture and climate of so many Vermont schools. With Mike leading the charge from the Rowland Foundation’s home base in Burlington, this incredible philanthropic organization has provided funding for eight teachers from Rutland City Public Schools since 2010, many when Bill was the principal at Rutland High School. Now, as Superintendent, Bill is helping Mike to promote the opportunities that the Rowland Foundation can provide for young and seasoned teachers alike who have a desire to transform Vermont schools with innovative approaches to teaching and learning. Along the way, our conversational journey took a few unexpected turns that are sure to make you laugh and wonder when these guests will return for an encore visit!
