As part of our continued effort to ensure that The Hub CoWorks is meeting the needs of our community, we installed twenty acoustic panels across the ceiling of the Streetside Conference Room at the end of December. Like the construction that took place in the Opera House Community Workspace this fall, this installation was strategic – aiming to reduce echo while maintaining the existing acoustic benefits of Streetside, where amplification is usually not needed for a presenter. We also installed sound absorption blinds on some of the windows in the space this fall to help with this initiative. We are grateful for the guidance of architect Robert Black, an office holder at The Hub CoWorks, and the construction team of MKF Properties for their assistance on this project.
