StartUp Rutland is pleased to launch the first cohort of the Actuator program here at The Hub CoWorks, in partnership with Black River Innovation Campus (BRIC) of Springfield, VT.

In this program, entrepreneurs from various industries across Rutland County have the opportunity to pressure-test a real business idea across an 8-week curriculum. Participants will focus on customer discovery, business model development, financial fundamentals, marketing strategy, legal considerations, pitch preparation, and more – with support from an entrepreneur-in-residence and guest subject matter experts for each session.

We are thrilled for the opportunity to work with BRIC and offer this program to Rutland County entrepreneurs. Since launching in 2021, BRIC’s Actuator program has supported over 100 startups and raised more than $17 million for small businesses in Southern Vermont. If you are interested in applying for our Spring 2027 cohort, you may fill out the application form here.
